A MOLDED YAOZHOU CELADON 'CHRYSANTHEMUM' DISH, SONG DYNASTY This lot is from a single owner collection and is therefore offered without reserve China, 12th century. Finely potted with shallow rounded sides supported on a short ring foot and rising to a lipped rim, the interior exquisitely molded with three chrysanthemums among leafy tendrils. The dish is covered inside and out with a finely crackled glaze of olive-green tone darkening in the recesses, save for the unglazed foot revealing the buff ware partially burnt to orange in the firing.
