AN AMBER-YELLOW GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE, 18TH CENTURY China. Of square form with rounded corners, supported on an oval foot and rising to a cylindrical neck with subtle concave lip, the narrow sides flanked with a pair of carefully rendered faux lion mask-and-ring handles, and the transparent glass of an even amber-yellow color. Stopper: Green glass on a black platelet Dimensions: Height including stopper 66 mm. Diameter neck 17 mm and mouth 8 mm.
