AN ENAMELED GLASS ‘DRAGONS AND LOTUS’ SNUFF BOTTLE, 18TH CENTURY China. The flattened baluster body supported on an oval foot and rising to a waisted neck with an everted rim. The exterior enameled in pale tones with two stylized blue dragons on either side, intertwined with two shield-shaped panels enclosing blossoming lotus borne on long stems, set against a translucent ground that graduates from fully transparent at the top to a milky, slightly more opaque white towards the base.
