A VERY FINE APPLE-GREEN JADEITE SNUFF BOTTLE, 1780-1880 China. Of compressed ovoid form, raised on a flat foot and rising to a waisted neck with a flat flaring rim. The lustrous stone is of a rich apple-green tone with russet veins and splashes of deep and vibrant emerald-green tones. Stopper: Tourmaline on bone collar Dimensions: Height including stopper 53 mm.
