A large Chinese embroidered red silk hanging textile Late Qing dynasty/Republic period The red ground embroidered in metallic and multi coloured threads with the Eight Immortals, roundels and an inscription to the side, 429cm x 62cm (excluding fringes). At least two large vertical tears, one running across an inscription. General dark stains. Some losses to threads, particularly to those of both inscriptions.
