A pair of Chinese carved green and pink-enamelled 'lotus' washers Late Qing dynasty/Republic period Each carved as a large lotus leaf with incurving sides and detailed veining, covered overall in green enamel, issuing four delicate pink-enamelled flower buds to the centre, 20cm x 18cm (2). One with several rim chips, ground down and with traces of old overpainting. The other with a couple of minute rim nibbles, some of which have been touched up.
