Tanabe Chikuunsai I (1877-1937), early 20th century Flower Basket Woven bamboo, signed by the artist, 17.8cm high, with otoshi and tomobako. Generally good condition for its age, with some very light wear including a couple of tiny snags. The otoshi with a fine crack and a central loss to the 'skin' of the mid section to base.
