A set of eight Japanese Arita figurative plates Meiji period Comprising six plates and a pair of stem plates, each with foliate rim, painted with an official on horse back to centre, signed Shiomodo Tikuba seisu (松茂堂竹芭製), 23.5cm diameter (8). One stem plate with chips and a hairline of approx. 1.5cm to mouth rim. The other in good condition. One plate with a chip to the underside of the rim with simple restoration.
