A Japanese Satsuma vase Meiji Period, signed Kanbe Ryosan Decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt on a clear crackled glaze, the body divided into five distinct horizontal bands extending from the neck to the foot, four oval roundels depicting legendary beings above a lower register of Chinese boys holding long scarves within a fenced garden, the base signed Kanbe Ryosan, 15.1cm high.
