A near pair of Chinese Zhangzhou (Swatow) blue and white dishes Ming dynasty, 16th century Painted to the inner cavetto with woven basket and foliage motifs, centred with the character 'Fu', 28.2cm and 28.7cm diameters, with a silk box (2). 明十六世紀 漳州窯青花福字紋盤一對 Condition Report: One with a narrow, deep gouge, a minor flake and a possible tiny area of fill to the foot rim; the other with minor flakes to the mouth rim.
