depicted with compassionate downwards gaze, and a small Amitabha Buddha to the hair, holding a ruyi scepter in one hand, and raising the other in Abhaya Mudra, the figure seated atop a crouching Fo dog, adorned in cloisonne robes, in polychrome enamels on turquoise, red and yellow grounds, with exposed areas of gilt metal to the body of the Buddha and Fo dog, seal mark to reverse, height 51cm
