AN OAK HALL OR REFECTORY TABLE MID 17TH CENTURY AND LATER With a quarter cut cleated plank top and a carved arcaded frieze to two faces, the left hand stile bearing journeyman's marks 'IB' 80cm high, 210cm wide, 76cm deep Condition Report: Marks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use Some old chips and splits Of a very pleasing "Nutty" colour and surface. The top with a historic infill from an previous knot in the timber, please see images. Evidence that this was likely part of a larger table which has since been reduced.
