AFTER THE ANTIQUE, A COMPOSITION FIGURE OF THE YOUNG WOMAN PLAYING KNUCKLEBONES 20TH CENTURY Depicting a figure of a young girl, possibly a nymph of Artemis, casting, bow beneath her 63cm high, the base 77cm wide This figure would seem to derive from the example in the British Museum (Registration number; 1805,0703.13). The Original Roman figure was found in the Villa Verospi, near the Salara gate of Rome and subsequently restored in the 18th century by the Italian sculptor Angellini.
