A GEORGE II MAHOGANY TALL CHEST OF DRAWERS IRISH, CIRCA 1750 172cm high, 80.5cm wide, 49.5cm deep Condition Report: Marks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old chips and splits. Some minor marks to the top above eye level. Some old repairs, see images This chest is separate to the base on which it sits. The brass handles are later replacements with some shadowing and filled holes from the previous handles, but suit the piece well. There is some minor evidence of old worm to the underside of the carcass. The drawers have oak drawer linings, there is some wear to some runners. An unusually narrow chest.
