Y A PAIR OF LOUIS XV TULIPWOOD AND PARQUETRY SERPENTINE PETIT COMMODES BY ABRAHAM-NICOLAS COULERU, MID 18TH CENTURY The sides of the drawers stamped 'ANC, MONTBELIARD' 82cm high, 81cm wide, 55cm deep Abraham-Nicolas Couleru, was made master in 1750 in Montbéliard Abraham-Nicolas Couleru was one of the best known provincial ebenistes of the mid-18th Century. His work is characterized by elaborate marquetry and parquetry designs, often in intricate patterns.
