A PAIR OF GEORGE III MAHOGANY AND SILK DAMASK UPHOLSTERED BERGERE ARMCHAIRS IN THE MANNER OF THOMAS CHIPPENDALE JUNIOR, CIRCA 1790 98cm high, 73cm wide, 59cm deep For a single bergère, also in the manner of Thomas Chippendale Junior, with equivalent scroll hand rests and roundels to the seat rails see, Christie's, Collections: Including the Orange Blossom Collection and Works from 'Centuries of Taste', 8th April 2025, ($6,930 incl. BP). A pair of giltwood bergères of identical form to the present lot, made for the Great Drawing Room at Burton Constable Hall can be seen in, J.
