Circa 3rd-4th century A.D. Large circular body with raised bosses on the shoulder and a piecrust rim surrounding the shallow discus with indented pellets, inked collector's number '368' on the base. Cf. Brooner, O., Isthmia, Volume III, Terracotta Lamps, Princeton, 1977, no.3178, for a fragment of a similar lamp. 223 grams, 14.4 cm (5 5/8 in.). Ex important German collection, 1960-1990.
