A votive pillars and offerings, Possibly Bilaspur, India, 19th century, Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, under a canopy, the offerings in inlaid lotas, the pillar and flanking palm trees inhabited by birds, within thin gold and white margins, 22.6 x 32.5cm. Provenance: Property from the private collection of John Acton (1932-2017) acquired in Delhi in the 1960s
