TO BE SOLD WITH NO RESERVE A seated portrait of a young ruler, Punjab, Northern India, late 19th century, Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, against a bolster, dressed in green, a sarpech in his turban, holding a tulwar in his right hand, his fly whisk bearer clad in white standing behind, on a terrace under a cusped arch fitted with an embroidered screen now rolled up and tied, outward facing lobed trefoils to each corners, the black and red ruled green borders with a garland of gold simplified palmettes, narrow pink margins, the pale green reverse inscribe "10" in pencil and with a loose signature or squiggle, 25.5 x 18.5cm.
