A devotional copper alloy figure of standing Lakshmi and of a standing lion, India, 20th century, The first on inverted lotiform base, holding a lotus bud in her right hand, her left arm along her slender body, with almond shaped eyes and plaited hair ; the second, on rectangular base, with serpentine tail, almond eyes either side of a pointy nose, erect ears open mouth, remnants of colour pigments together with a betel nut cutter, of typical form, the spring system fashioned as a peacock tail (3)
