A silver sweet meat pot, Ottoman Turkey, 19th century, On six feet with foliated apron, on lobed base rising to a flaring body, engraved with strapworks and hanging knotted palmettes against a machined lattice field, an undulating register with simplified forms below, with sahh and tughra to foot and body, on sahh punched to well, the sahh of later form, the tughra illegible, 16.2cm. high
