Amir Khushro : the Tale of Four Derwishes (Qissa Chahar Dervish), and a copy of the 14th-century satirical poem Moosh ve gorbeh (Cat & Mouse) by 'Obayd-i Zakani, copied and illustrated in the same hand, Qajar Iran, dated 1227 AH/1812AD Arabic manuscript on paper, ff., fl., ill., 17 ll. of black naskh script to the page, the opening bifolio plain and now loose, some foliation up to 60 in pencil to upper centre of each page, some words picked or overlined in red, occasional marginal annotations, identification in pencil to front cover's inside together with reference number handwritten in blue ink on older stamp like label, the first page with previous owners notes and double or triple stamp impression in purple ink, loose folios, numerous doodles, brown morocco binding, spine damaged, repaired, stained, folio 27 x 17cm., , 28.5 x 19.5cm.
