CHEN WENLING (CHINESE, B.1969), 'GAMES' painted bronze, the base signed by the artist and with edition number 47/300, 46cm high Footnote: Chen Wenling is a Chinese contemporary artist known for his distinctive bronze sculptures that blend surreal human and animal forms, often featuring vibrant red patina and themes of nature, society, and mythology. His work has been exhibited internationally in galleries and museums, earning recognition for its bold visual language and commentary on modern life. Chen Wenling was born in 1969 in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, China. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Sculpture Department of Xiamen Academy of Art and Design, and a Master of Fine Arts from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, where he currently lives and works.
