A CHINESE PARCEL-GILT AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL TRIPOD CENSER AND COVER, QIANLONG MARK AND PERIOD the compressed globular body decorated with scrolling lotus against a turquoise ground and set with a pair of gilt-bronze lion mask handles suspending loose rings, all supported on three lion mask cabriole legs, the domed cover with three lotus panels enclosing lotus scrooll and divided by pierced gilt ruyi clouds, all surmounted by a gilt-bronze Buddhist lion finial, the base with an inset bronze square incised with the four-character mark in a horizontal line, 14.5cm high Provenance: Acquired in London in the 1960's.
