A globular black and turquoise blue glazed pottery pouring vessel, Ilkhanid central Iran, 12th/13th century, On short conical foot, the body rising to a straight rim and slightly rounded lip double picked in black, with applied loop handle, the painted decoration consisting of poetic inscription reserved against black above plain vertical bands, some iridescence, repaired and restored 13cm. high Provenance : Property of a royal family
