A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'DOUBLE HAPPINESS' VASE, LATE QING DYNASTY, LATER 19TH CENTURY the baluster body rising from a recessed foot to a rounded shoulder and tall trumpet neck, painted around the exterior with 'double happiness' characters on a foliate scroll ground, all between stylised trellis, wave and whorl bands, the neck set with a pair of lion dog handles, 43.5cm high
