Dimensions: Width: 33.5 cm x Heigth: 4.8 cm Chinese Qing Dynasty GuangXu Famille Rose Dragon Medallions Porcelain Plate. The plates has a broad wide central interior, round mouth lip, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in light blue color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of five claws imperial dragon soaring amidst flames, vapors, chasing flaming pearl amidst scrolling cumulus clouds, with face toward the heavens. Surrounded with Shou Chinese calligraphy and flying Fu bats. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportion.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years of GuangXu Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
