Dimensons: Height: 5.1 cm, Diam.: 11.9 cm Chinese Qing Dynasty Daoguang Alum Red Bamboo Motif Porcelain Bowl. The bowl has an open mouth, rounded lip rim, thick, deep arced body, raised with round foot ring and slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in alum red base color which contrast against pale white color, depicted of abundant sturdy bamboo tree with dense foliage. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings lines. Made in The Years Daoguang Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
