Dimensions: Width: 47cm, Height: 6.5cm Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Porcelain Plate. The plate has a broad wide central interior, rounded mouth lip, thick and large, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of lotus flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportion.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
