Crafted from luminous creamy Hetian jade, the main vessel of this censer is adorned with deeply rendered floral scroll carvings across its rounded body. Symmetrical phoenix-head handles extend gracefully from both sides with intricately detailed featherwork. The openwork dark hardwood lid is elaborately carved with dragon motifs, finished with a textured carved knob to facilitate lifting, and rests upon a polished matching wooden stand with curved feet. Measuring 23 cm long, 14 cm wide and 17 cm tall, the complete piece weighs 1010 g. The soft even jade luster contrasts beautifully against dark timber accents, showcasing exceptional lapidary and woodworking skills for an elegant formal display of traditional incense ware.
