Potted unto a shaped vase, large thick and tall body, cylindrical body, long neck with flaring mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against famille rose design color depicted of abundant peony blossom interspersed foliage. The Chinese name for Peony even translates to most beautiful. The Peony?s thick ruffled blooms and ability to return spring after spring for 100 years. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
