Measurements: Length: 17 cm, Height: 26.8 cm Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Fu Bat Porcelain Gourd Bottle. Potted in a shape of double gourd resemblance, with two bulbous bellies conjoined together, bulbous lower section finishing into a slender bottleneck at the top, suspending a cylindrical neck, raised on short ring foot base and slightly concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in dark brown color which contrast against golden color, depicted of flying fi bats through cumulus clouds and vapors. Fu Bats through vapors and scrolling ruyi. The word bat Fu, in Chinese culture and meaning the five blessings, prosperity, good fortune, and can even delineate happiness. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
