Dimensions: Length: 16.5cm, Width: 16.5cm, Height: 31.3cm. Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Blue and White Bat and Gourd Tianyuan Squared Gourd Vase. The Chinese porcelain potted in a shape of squared double gourd resemblance, with square bellies and ovoid upper bellies conjoined together, squared lower section finishing into a slender bottleneck at the top, suspending cylindrical neck, with a straight opening lip, raised on splayed foot base and slighty concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color, depicted of flying Fu bats through gourd and interlocking tendril. The clay is very fine, with a fine glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportion.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
