Measuring 17.2 cm in length and 6.7 cm in width, this elongated flat Hetian jade implement features a smoothly curved distal blade edge and a neatly drilled circular perforation near the narrower upper end designed for lacing and mounting. The jade surface is enriched by deep, irregular natural earthy patination in gradients of warm beige and charcoal grey, forming textured aged patina across the subtly polished plain body. Cleanly worked edges exhibit fine ancient lapidary craftsmanship with restrained minimal ornamentation. Serving as a solemn ceremonial antiquity, this well-preserved jade piece is an outstanding addition to refined collections of archaic Chinese ritual hardstone artefacts.
