The Hotan white jade mountain boulder itself measures 8 x 4 x 11.5 cm, reaching an overall height of 14.5 cm once mounted on its carved hardwood base, with a fitted storage box sized 16 x 14 x 22 cm; the jade carving weighs 467 grams. Sculpted following natural rocky contours, the milky-hued boulder enshrines a seated Guanyin nestled within textured mountainous recesses with softly detailed facial features and draped robes. It rests on an intricately openwork stand carved with swirling cloud motifs, while the polished wooden case bears an inscribed antique paper label.
