This substantial circular jade bi features a neatly pierced central aperture, its broad surface densely covered in orderly raised grain motifs that form a rhythmic classic decorative layout. The jade exhibits soft celadon undertones, interspersed with prominent mottled russet and pale calcified patina patches from natural ageing across part of the disc. Polished with smooth rounded rims, the artifact measures 22.5 cm in diameter and weighs 782 grams. Its evenly executed lapidary work and authentic aged surface patination make this ritual bi disc an impactful museum-grade acquisition for serious collections of ancient Chinese jade antiquities.
