This cloisonne censer is cast from high quality fine, slightly flattened round box, with rounded wide cavetto, correspondence dome lid, raised from rounded sides over a wide cavetto Inner flange circumscribed around the containers lip allows for a perfect fitment on the each rim. The body cast with mighty qilin standing on the forest surrounded with dense tree flower and scrolling interlocking tendril. The cloisonne cast has been done with impressive fluency and detail.
