A finely matched pair of Chinese porcelain bowls delicately enameled in the famille rose palette against a rich coral-red ground. Each bowl is beautifully decorated with naturalistic sprays of seasonal flowers, including chrysanthemums, lilies, asters, and other flowering plants intertwined with graceful foliage, all rendered in soft shades of pink, lavender, blue, green, yellow, and white. The interiors are covered in a luminous turquoise glaze, creating an elegant contrast with the vibrant exterior decoration.The undersides continue the floral decoration surrounding the recessed turquoise-glazed foot, and each bears a four-character underglaze blue mark reading ?????? ("Made in the Yongzheng Period"). This mark is likely apocryphal, reflecting admiration for the refined porcelains of the Yongzheng reign rather than indicating the actual date of manufacture.The combination of the coral-red ground, finely painted famille rose enamels, and turquoise interior is characteristic of high-quality decorative porcelains produced in the Qing tradition and later copied for the collector's market.Probably Qing dynasty, late 19th to early 20th century, bearing an apocryphal Yongzheng mark.
