Dimensions: 27"H x 16.5"W A Superb and Large Chinese Doucai-Style Blue-and-Red Enamelled ?Three-Dragon? Bottle VaseQianlong Six-Character Seal Mark, but later (Qing Dynasty style, 19th?20th century)Beautifully potted with a generous pear-shaped body rising to a tall trumpet neck, this elegant porcelain vase is richly decorated in the doucai palette, combining underglaze cobalt blue with overglaze iron-red enamels. The surface is animated by three ferocious five-clawed dragons, each finely drawn with sinuous bodies, powerful limbs, and flame-like manes, depicted leaping amidst stylized clouds in pursuit of flaming pearls.The underglaze blue forms the structural outlines, key-fret borders, and wave bands, while the iron-red enamel is used to fill the dragon bodies with dense scale work, creating a striking and auspicious contrast. The neck is adorned with a band of upright petal lappets and cloud scrolls in deep cobalt blue, echoing imperial decorative motifs seen in Qianlong-period porcelains.The foot is encircled with a formal lappet border, and the base bears a six-character Qianlong seal mark in underglaze blue, written in zhuanshu (seal script). The mark indicates admiration for earlier imperial styles, although the workmanship and glaze characteristics suggest a later Qing or early Republic-period tribute piece, produced with exceptional skill.The painting quality is meticulous, with confident brushwork, strong cobalt tone, and well-controlled iron-red enamel.
