Dimensions: 6.25" Diameter. A Large Molded Green-Glazed ?Nine Dragons? Chargerwith Guangxu Six-Character MarkImpressively potted with a broad, gently sloping well, the charger is decorated overall with a lively design of nine molded five-clawed dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls, each dragon articulated with crisp scale-work and dynamic movement. The sinuous beasts coil and leap among swirling clouds and auspicious flames, their bodies rendered in low relief beneath a brilliant translucent green glaze.The glaze pools richly within the recessed details, enhancing the depth of the molded decoration and creating a striking play of light across the surface. The rim is cleanly finished, and the reverse continues the monochrome glaze, typical of revival wares inspired by imperial Qing prototypes.The underside bears an six-character Guangxu mark in underglaze blue, enclosed within double circles. The overall execution, bold scale, and intense green glaze reflect the aesthetic of late Qing imperial wares, interpreted here in a later production.
