Dimensions: 19.5"H x 13"W Chinese Qing Dynasty QianLong DouQing and Blue and White Bajixiang Porcelain Moon Vase On Carved Hardwood Stand. Potted in moon vase, thick and tall, with bulbous lower region, moon round belly, sweeping up into a slender neckline and straight mouth rim, emerge two archaic ruyi handles flanked from neck to the shoulder rim, create majestic handles, raised on short rectangle foot base with slight concave footing. Warm and uniform DouQing glaze applied to the surface, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Green is the most important variety of China?s porcelain. Green stands for health, prosperity, and harmony. In Chinese culture, green stands for cleanliness and purity from contamination. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed green script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
