The Vases potted in celestial shape vase, thick and tall, globular lower body, cylindrical neck, flaring round mouth rim, raised on a short small round foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of salubrious landscape with sampan boat sailing over peace Lishui river surround with dense tree, flowers bloom, rocky rock mountain waterfall with dew and sky clouds. Many mountains in China are sacred, represent the yang element in the landscape and as such connect to the governing yang element in China the Emperor. Mountain is one of the eight trigrams in Feng Shui and Yi Jing. Of these Taishan is considered the most important and stones from the mountain were often placed in towns across China as a lucky charm. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring lines. Made in The Years Yongzheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
