Dimensions: 17"H x 11.5"W Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Dragon Motif Porcelain Celestial Vase. The porcelain potted in reward shape vase, thick, globular lower body, straight tall cylindrical neck, round mouth rim, raised on a short small ring foot base with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of Imperial dragon are borne in floating clouds and flames above Lishui waves. Which attracting unceasingly admiration. The clouds and dragon patterns are vivid and have distinctive characteristics of the times.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
