This auspicious gilt-bronze ruyi bears delicately etched scroll patterns across its gracefully curved shaft, which is further adorned with one elongated oval turquoise inset. The ornate openwork head showcases an intricate gem cluster: a prominent central red cabochon is encircled by small turquoise and golden-hued stones, all framed by smooth pale white stone inlays. A vibrant red silk tassel suspended from the cut-out terminal end adds elegant decorative flair. Measuring 31.5 cm in length, 7.5 cm in width and 5 cm in height, the scepter weighs 620 g.
