This large circular bronze mirror features a raised central knob and a neatly raised outer rim. Its back surface is adorned with intricate gold inlays forming an array of dynamically rendered beasts and avian figures that wind amid scrolling foliage. A naturally aged patina alongside scattered verdigris patches blankets the bronze base, lending authentic antiquity to the piece, while much of the golden ornamentation remains sharply distinguishable.
