Standing 23 cm in height and 9 cm in width, this elegant Buddhist stupa combines translucent rock crystal and finely wrought gilded metalwork. Crystal composes the tiered finial, domed upper section and circular lower plinth, showcasing attractive natural translucency. The central gilded cylindrical body bears an embossed seated Buddha relief, dotted with inset turquoise and red gemstones along its rim. Delicate dangling golden pendants hang from the eaves of the upper canopy, while detailed lotus-petal mouldings embellish both top and bottom gold trim. Rich in sacred iconography and meticulous ornamentation, this refined reliquary is a remarkable addition to premium collections of antique devotional Chinese Buddhist artefacts.
