Dimensions: Height: 3.7cm, Diam: 18cm Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Yongzheng blue and white Fu Bats & Shou calligraphy porcelain plates. The plate has a broad wide central interior, rounded rim with Chrysanthemum flori form lip, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. The dish wall is finely carved in blue and white fine color, is an excellent object with Shou Chinese calligraphy surrounded by Fu bats, scrolling ruyi and auspicious ornament. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings lines, Made In The Years Yongzheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
