Dimensons: Measurements: Height: 4 cm Diam: 28 cm Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Kangxi Eggplant Purple Glazed Porcelain Plate. The plate has a broad wide central interior, rounded mouth rim, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Warm and uniform dark blue glaze applied to all body covered in an even coat of a deep blue glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white under glaze. The blue glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings, Made In The Years of Kangxi Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
