Multi-layer openwork relief encircles the exterior, depicting an idyllic wooded landscape with pine boughs, rugged rockwork, drifting cloud patterns and robed scholars gathering amid groves for cultural pastimes. Warm reddish-brown aged patina accentuates the natural fine bamboo grain.
