Measuring 96 x 261 cm, this vertically elongated kesi thangka features Tsongkhapa seated centrally upon an ornately carved elevated throne, clad in intricately woven saffron-toned monastic robes with delicate floral detailing. The rich crimson primary backdrop bears neatly arranged Tibetan script inscriptions along the top and bottom margins, enclosed by an elaborate gilt-patterned border. Symmetrical rows of stylized lotus medallions decorate the lower pictorial field, while layered celestial floral ornamentation frames the master?s halo.
